The report canvasses the views of 700 experts from around the world. What think you???

It lists five areas that they grouped them into.
  • Economic ---failure of economic mechanism; fiscal crises in key economies; structurally high unemployment/underemployment ...as high as 50% for youth in some nations; income disparity/globalization
  • Environmental ---water crises; failure to adapt to climate change; greater incidents of extreme weather
  • Geopolitical ---global governance failure; food crises; profound political and social instability
  • Societal ---dysfunctional societies, particularly in the cities
  • Technological ---cyber attacks; infrastructure disruptions; data loss

What is the most scary to you???

Digital Dependency should be a concern ...and hopefully not being used as a tool to bring a world to its knees.

With the internet, and our interconnectedness ...we have reached a point that so much of our life depends upon something so powerful and so fragile at the same time.

We have the same underlying infrastructure, the same hardware/software standards ...with billions of devices connected and interconnected, into a hyper-connectivity.

What will we do if it fails?  How will we react?

Actually, it may be a good thing to bring us to our knees, as long as we know who we are praying to.  The world is not in a state of trust ...and we have ideological polarization, to bring people even further apart.

When will it come to being enough???

And what do you say??

I say, the biggest threat is the ever-widening divide between two different philosophies ...that of evolution and God.

With all the risks around the globe ...the biggest, I believe, is to not turn to God, or to turn away from Him.
